Can PTBurn be run as a Windows service?

Unfortunately, it cannot be run as a service.

However, you can minimize it to the System Tray. You will need to edit the following INI file:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\PTBurn\PTSETUP.INI

 

Edit the MinimizeStyle key. There are two possible values:

MinimizeStyle=Taskbar - This setting minimizes to the system tray - PTBurn shows up as an icon next to the clock (see below). This can be hidden completely if you set taskbar properties in Windows to "Hide Inactive Icons". 

MinimizeStyle=Normal - This setting minimizes to the taskbar. This is the default value.
