The LX900 is not printing. Nothing happens when I click print.

Answer

1. Connect the USB Cable and Power. 

2. Printer Driver.
Make sure the latest printer driver is installed. 

3. Turn off UAC.  See this article. (Windows Vista, 7 or 8 only)

4.  Give rights to the LX900.  Open the Devices and Printers folder, right-click on ‘Color Label 900'.  Click Properties.  Click on the Security tab.  Now click on Everyone in Group or user names.  Check the boxes to allow Print, Manage this printer and Manage documents.  Click OK.

5. PTI Folder Rights. Give users Full Control to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\PTI and subfolders (XP) -OR- C:\Program Data\PTI and subfolders (Vista/7/8).  Right click on the PTI folder.  Choose Properties.  Click on the Security Tab.  Click the Edit button.  Choose the user under "Group or user names".  Check "Full control".  Click OK.

Note 1: Application Data and Program Data are hidden folders.  To access hidden files and folders on XP/2000, go to Tools – Folder Options – View tab.  Click on ‘Show hidden files and folders’.  Click on Apply and OK.  On Vista/7/8, go to Organize – Folder and Search Options – View tab.  Click on ‘Show hidden files, folders, drives’.  Click on Apply and OK.

Note 2: If the current user is unable to perform any of the steps above, the computer administrator will need to log in and give these rights to the appropriate user.
