The computer is not communicating with Bravo II or BravoPro via USB 2.0 - The Bravo is not burning, not printing, or not picking discs.
USB 1.0 vs 2.0. Make sure you are using a 2.0 card or Onboard USB 2.0 Port. Check this article for more information on determining if you have a 2.0 port.
Onboard Ports. While USB 2.0 cards will work with the Bravo units, it is always preferable to use USB 2.0 ports that are integrated into the motherboard of the PC or Mac. It is proven that integrated or onboard ports perform faster especially when burning DVD material. With USB 2.0 cards it is unlikely that you will reach the maximum capable speed of a 16x DVD drive. If possible, it may be beneficial to use a newer computer with integrated USB 2.0 instead of using a USB 2.0 card.
Card Type. If you must use a card, we recommend the cards that we sell through our sales department. The sales number is 1-800-797-2772. If you purchase a card from another source, the brand of the card is not as important as the chip used on the card. See below for a list of chip brands and their compatibility status:
Hubs. USB hubs or pass-through ports on other devices are not recommended.
Port Location. Even with onboard ports, always use the ports on the back of the computer. These ports are located directly on the motherboard. If you are using a front port, you are likely connected to a hub. It is just located inside the computer rather than outside.
Combo Cards. Stay away from combo cards. (Combo cards are cards that do other things in addition to USB 2.0 or Firewire. Example: 2 firewire ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports and one serial port)
