How do I completely remove / uninstall PTPublisher for Mac from my computer (Mac)?

Answer

1. Delete the "PTPublisher" application from any and all of the following locations:

 

 - Hard Drive - Applications
 - Hard Drive - Users - <username> - D
esktop
 - Hard Drive - Users - <username> - Downloads

2. Empty the trash.

3. Delete the "PTPJobs" folder from one of the following locations depending on the version:

Version 2.0 or lower = the root of the Hard Drive
Version 2.1 = Hard Drive - Library - Application Support - Primera 
Version 2.2 or higher (10.6) = Users - <curent user> - Library - Application Support - Primera
Version 2.2 or higher (10.7-10.9) = Library Folder is hidden! Select the Go Menu - Go to Folder - Type ~/Library - Now you can browse to - Application Support - Primera

4. Delete the following files from this location depending on OS version:

OS 10.6 - Hard Drive - Users - <current user> - Library - Preferences
OS 10.7-10.9 - Library Folder is hidden! Select the Go Menu - Go to Folder - Type ~/Library - Now browse to - Preferences folder.

  • com.belightsoft.DiscCover2.LSSharedFileList.plist
  • com.belightsoft.DiscCover2.plist
  • com.belightsoft.DiscCover3.pe.plist
  • com.primera.PTPublisher.plist
  • com.primera.PTSDK.plist

    Note: All of the above files may not be present.

5. Delete the "BeLight Software" folder from Hard Drive - Library - Application Support. (This folder may not be present.)

6. Reboot the computer! (This is to clear cached copies of the plist files.)

7. Reinstall PTPublisher.
