The LX800/810/400 pauses in the middle of a print job. The printer stops printing in the middle of a job with the pause light solid.
This issue may be caused by:
1. Corrupt file. The print file is corrupted. Re-create the print file. Depending on the print program being used you can sometimes copy all objects from one file and paste them into a new file and then resave. However, it is also possible that one of the objects in the file is causing the corruption.
2. Imbedded Images. If you have imported incompatible images into NiceLabel, such as certain GIF images, you may have this problem. Try reformatting the imbedded image into a JPG or BMP and try again. Also, copying and pasting images from other programs into NiceLabel may cause similar problems.
3. Source Image Layer or Object Formatting. If you are printing from Corel, Illustrator, Photoshop, NiceLabel, Bartender or any program that allows you to print files that consist of multiple layers or objects, those objects or layers could cause the LX to skip labels if they are corrupted or the borders of the object lie outside the printable area of the label. Try removing, moving or reinserting these objects and printing again. Also, try flattening the file by exporting it as a bmp, jpg or tif. Open that new file in the same program or any program that supports that file type and print again.
4. Empty Label Stock. See this article
